Kerala State Excise Department supporting and lending its hands in Rescue and Relief Operations in the flood-landslide affected areas, along with other Departments. District Deputy Excise Commissioners are coordinating the operations in association with the District Collectors concerned. Excise Commissioner is managing the operations and deputed maximum possible number of Excise Personnel in all the affected area. A Control Room is functioning at Excise Headquarters, for the coordination of Statewide functioning of the Rescue and Relief operations of the Department. Results of the Short Film Competition conducted by the Kerala Vimukthi Mission for College Student, is published. First prize of Rupees One Lakh is won by the short film “Midhya” of Mar Baselios Institute of Technology and Science, Nellimattom, Ernakulam District. Second Prize of Rupees Fifty Thousand and Third Prize of Rupees Twenty Five Thousand are awarded to three Colleges each. Consolation Prize of Rupees Ten Thousand is awarded to ten Colleges. Prizes will be distributed in a function organized at V.J.T. Hall, Thiruvananthapuram on 31/05/2019.
