Kerala State Excise Department supporting and lending its hands in Rescue and Relief Operations in the flood-landslide affected areas, along with other Departments. District Deputy Excise Commissioners are coordinating the operations in association with the District Collectors concerned. Excise Commissioner is managing the operations and deputed maximum possible number of Excise Personnel in all the affected area. A Control Room is functioning at Excise Headquarters, for the coordination of Statewide functioning of the Rescue and Relief operations of the Department.
